[HUAWEI] How to prevent scratches and abrasion on my watch/band screen |
HUAWEI wearables are all subject to pre-delivery strict screen inspections to ensure screen resistance to scratches or abrasion is up to standard. However, screen performance may deteriorate with daily use.
If your screen is badly scratched and it affects day-to-day use, take your device and proof of purchase to an authorised Huawei Customer Service Centre for assistance.
Protective measures:
1. When using the device, prevent it from hitting or rubbing against other objects, or being dropped onto the ground (including granite surface, concrete, and ceramic tile).
2. Avoid wearing the device with other hard objects such as bracelets, and avoid keeping the device in contact with metal, hard zippers, or buttons.
3. Try to keep the screen in contact with soft materials (such as fabrics) if you leave the device idle. Avoid letting the device come into contact with sharp objects (such as keys, coins, metal materials, rings, and gravels).
4. To further protect against scratches, a screen protector is advised.
