This is due to the design of the watch's Bluetooth channel specifications. In this scenario, the earphones are connected to the phone, and the watch cannot transmit the voice broadcasts to the earphones through the phone. You can resolve this issue using either of the following methods:
Method 1 (when your Bluetooth earphones support dual-device connections)
- For HUAWEI FreeBuds series earphones, refer to Dual connect or automatic audio switch feature on HUAWEI earphones.
- For non-HUAWEI earphones, consult the device vendor for usage guidelines and audio playback rules.
Method 2 (when your Bluetooth earphones do not support dual-device connections and you want to listen to the voice broadcasts through the earphones)
- Connect your phone to your watch and Bluetooth earphones, and start a workout using the Huawei Health app. Your watch will then be able to link with your phone for synced workout monitoring and you can listen to the voice broadcasts from the Huawei Health app and music from your phone through the earphones.
- Connect your Bluetooth earphones to your watch and start a workout on your watch. You will then be able to listen to the voice broadcasts from your watch through the earphones.
