Privacy Questions

Here at the Huawei Privacy Questions Portal, you can exercise you data privacy rights and contact Huawei entities and Huawei's Data Protection Officer with questions regarding the processing of your personal data. Please start by choosing your country/region and the product or service that your enquiry is about.

We store your data in databases located in German.

We will process and retain your data for up to six (6) years from the last interaction.

In order to provide network location services, we may collect certain information about Wi-Fi routers detected by your device if you have enabled Location Services. This involves collecting and storing information such as, the MAC addresses of Wi-Fi routers as well as their corresponding locations, so we can use that information to estimate the location of the device (for the purpose of providing network location services). We only use this information for providing network location services and do not use it to identify the owners of the Wi-Fi access points. However, if you do not want information about your personal Wi-Fi router to be included in our crowdsourced database, you may opt out by adding text "_nomap" to the end of your Wi-Fi network's name.
