1. Product data generation
HUAWEI’s connected products generate data through daily usage to support products functions and optimize user interactions. The type format, estimated volume, collection frequency, location and the intended duration of data varies depending on device type, device functionalities and user configurations.
Users can request raw and pre-processed data that HUAWEI has readily available. However, highly enriched data and content data fall outside the scope of this request.
We’ve categorized available datasets by HUAWEI’s connected products and provide approximate daily data generation estimates for each.

2. Data management
Legislation in certain countries and regions where we provide products stipulates that the users have rights to access, correct, retrieve and delete data.
(1) For the device-side data, the user may access some data directly, we’ve categorized how the users can manage the data.
a. Smartphones and Tablets
To view data stored on the device, navigate to Settings > System & Updates> User experience improvement > Uploaded Data History.
b. MBB
The user may log in to the WEBUI and access the content through the Advanced > System >System Settings>System Logs. Data may be exported by selecting the 'Export'.
c. Router
The user may log in to the WEBUI and access the content through the System Settings>Developer Options. Users can export their data by simply clicking the 'Save locally' button.
(2) For the data stored on the server, the users can access by visiting Privacy Center. To help protect the security of your data, you must sign in to your account and your identity will be verified. On logging in, you will be presented with a list of your data category. You can select the data you’d like to access and download, and a data copy will be provided to you.
We will make every effort to respond within reasonable period upon receiving a request. This period will be within a maximum of 30 days and subject to extension if necessary, depending on the number of requests and their complexity. In the event of any time conflict between this section and local laws/regulations, the latter shall prevail.
3. Data using by HUAWEI
HUAWEI and its affiliates companies may use products and related service data for analytics purposes, based on user consent. If personal data is involved, data will be processed complying with applicable GDPR rules. For more processing details, please refer to the respective Privacy Statement.
