Multi-Screen Collaboration now comes with a Landscape Window mode, which allows you to open phone apps in large landscape windows on your computer.
Prerequisites
- Your phone supports Multi-Screen Collaboration. Go to the official website for the supported models.
- The version of Huawei PC Manager is 13.0.3.320 or later. Update Huawei PC Manager to the latest version when necessary.
- Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on your phone are enabled.
- Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on your computer are enabled, and Huawei PC Manager is opened.

- Set up a collaboration between your computer and phone using any one of the following methods.
Collaboration mode may vary depending on the model. Select a collaboration mode based on your device.
- Method 1: Through OneHop
Enable NFC on your phone, and tap the NFC area of your phone (with screen unlocked) against the Huawei Share sensor area or the
tag on your computer until your phone plays the prompt tone or vibrates. Follow the onscreen instructions to set up collaboration.
- Method 2: Through Huawei PC Manager
Open Huawei PC Manager, and go to My devices > My phone > CONNECT in Huawei PC Manager and connect the computer to your phone via Bluetooth or QR code.
When your phone and computer are connected via a USB cable, Landscape Window is not supported.
- Method 3: Through Super Device
- Log in to the same HUAWEI ID on your phone and computer.
- Place your phone close to the computer and click the Control Panel icon
in the lower right corner of the computer screen. Devices that can be connected nearby will be automatically detected and displayed in Super Device. Click the device to be collaborated for quick collaboration. (You can also click the magnifier icon
in Control Panel to search for nearby devices.)
- Method 1: Through OneHop
- After your computer and phone have been connected for collaboration, you can then use Landscape Window.
- Landscape Window
- Only certain mobile apps support Landscape Window.
- Mobile apps do not support switching between large and small windows. That is, apps that support Landscape Window cannot be displayed in small windows.
- In the collaboration window on the computer, open a phone app in either of the following ways (HUAWEI Notepad is used as an example):
- Press and hold the app icon and select Open in new window.
- Double-click to open the app and click the plus sign
in the title bar of the window.
- Press and hold the app icon and select Open in new window.
- The app displays a large landscape twin window.
- In the twin window, click the add button
to create a note.
- After a note is created and saved, click the back button
on the title bar of the window to switch back one directory.
- App Multiplier
Only certain mobile apps support App Multiplier.
- In the collaboration window, open a phone app in either of the following ways (a news app is used as an example):
- Press and hold the app icon on the desktop and select Open in new window.
- Double-click to open the app and click the plus sign
in the title bar of the window.
- Press and hold the app icon on the desktop and select Open in new window.
- After you click a news item on the home screen, the news details are displayed on the right, as shown in the following figure.
- Press and hold
in the middle of the split screen and move it leftward or rightward to adjust the proportion of the app's home screen and details screen.
- Click
on the top of the split screen. When the icon changes to
, the association between the left and right windows is cancelled, and the two windows can then work independently.
- In the collaboration window, open a phone app in either of the following ways (a news app is used as an example):
- Adjusting the window size
Drag any corner of a window (except the upper right corner) to zoom in or out.
- Landscape Window
