Place your phone against the center of the wireless charger
If the phone coil is too far from the wireless charger coil, charging may be slow or frequently interrupted due to the charging efficiency being reduced.
Use the HUAWEI charger that came with your device or a HUAWEI wireless charger to charge your phone
It is recommended that you use a HUAWEI wireless charger, or the power adapter and data cable that came with your device to charge your device, for optimally fast charging. Using non-HUAWEI accessories may reduce the charging efficiency.
Use a standard protective case or other thin, non-metallic protective case
If your phone comes with a thick metal protective case, the wireless charging efficiency may be affected.
Wirelessly charge your phone at room temperature (10–30°C) (only applicable to Mate 40 Pro/Pro+)
If the temperature of your phone is high (35°C or above) during wireless charging, the charging overtemperature protection feature will automatically adjust the charging power, which slows down the charging. After the phone temperature returns to normal, the normal charging speed will resume.
