Changing the AC Recovery setting in the BIOS

When a computer is disconnected to the power supply and then connected to a power supply, AC Recovery allows the computer to power on, power off, or maintain the last state according to the previous setting.

The AC Recovery setting can only take effect when the computer is disconnected to the power supply, the built-in power in the host has been completely released, and the computer is reconnected to a power supply. If the duration of disconnection is too short and the built-in power in the host has not been completely released, this feature may not take effect.

  • If AC Recovery is set to Power On, the computer will power on after it is disconnected and then connected to a power supply.
  • If AC Recovery is set to Last State, the computer will resume to the last state after it is disconnected and then connected to a power supply. If the computer is in sleep mode before it is disconnected to the power supply, it will resume to Hibernate mode after it is reconnected to power supply.
  • If AC Recovery is set to Power Off, the computer will still power off after it is disconnected and then connected to a power supply.

To use this feature:

  1. Press and hold or continuously press F2 during startup to open the BIOS setting screen.
  2. Set AC Recovery as required.
