The tablet's screen has a red or yellow cast

Problem

1. In Vivid mode, the tablet's screen has a slight red cast when displaying a white image or white background in contrast to other tablet models, which do not.

2. In Normal mode, the tablet's screen has a slight yellow cast when displaying a white image or white background in contrast to Vivid mode or on other tablet models, which do not.

Cause

1. In Vivid mode, the tablet reduces the emission of blue light to prevent eye fatigue that is caused by looking at the screen for a long time. Lower blue light levels result in your screen having softer colors.

2. In Normal mode, the screen's color accuracy is better and the display looks more natural.

Solution

Try the following to adjust the display:

1. If Eye Comfort is enabled, go to Settings > Display & brightness > Eye Comfort > FILTER LEVEL to adjust the filter level.

2. If Eye Comfort is not enabled, go to Settings > Display & brightness > Colour > COLOUR TEMPERATURE to adjust the color temperature.

3. If the issue persists, back up your data and take your device and proof of purchase to an authorized Huawei Customer Service Center for assistance.
