Load paper into a HUAWEI laser printer
 
  • HUAWEI laser printers support the following paper types:
    • Paper types: ordinary paper, thick paper, and recycled paper
    • Paper dimensions: A4, B5 JIS, A5 (SEF), B6 JIS (SEF), A6 (SEF), Letter (216 mm × 279 mm), Executive (184 mm × 267 mm), 16 Kai (184 mm x 260 mm)
    • Paper thickness: 60 to 105 g/m2
  • HUAWEI PixLab X1 is used as an example.

Procedure:

  1. Hold both sides of the paper tray with both hands and pull it out completely.

  2. Take a stack of print paper with no more than 150 pages, curve the paper slightly back and forth to loosen the paper, fan the paper, and then align the edges of the paper on the table. This helps prevent paper jam.

    Curled paper may cause paper jam. Therefore, before loading paper, flatten the curled paper.

  3. Hold the handle of the paper tray and pull out the rear baffle. Place the processed paper with the print side facing down, and slide the paper length stop to align it with the edge of the paper. The following figure shows how to place the paper properly (A4 and A5 papers are used as examples).
     
    • To load paper that has been printed on one side, pull out the paper tray, place the blank side of the paper facing down, and place the paper on top of the remaining paper.
    • If the rear baffle is not at the end of the paper tray, pinch and slide it to the end. If the left baffle is not at the leftmost end of the paper tray, pinch and slide it to the leftmost end.

  4. Reserve a space of more than 10 cm behind the printer, and install the paper tray. The dust resistance cover of the paper tray will be pushed out. The following figure shows the effect after the paper tray is installed.

    If the space reserved behind the printer is insufficient, the dust resistance cover of the paper tray cannot be properly pushed out after the paper tray is installed. As a result, the paper will be curled or jammed, or the printing will fail.

  5. Pull out the outlet tray and flip the baffle on the outlet tray to prepare for printing (recommended when the printing volume is large).
