| Unable to adjust the exposure value in Photo mode and aperture in Wide aperture mode in Camera on my HUAWEI phone |
Problem:
- In Photo mode in the Camera app of the HUAWEI phone, the focus circle disappears quickly and the exposure value can't be adjusted.
- In Wide aperture mode in the Camera app of the HUAWEI phone, the aperture can't be adjusted.
Solution:
Try the following operations:
- Go to Camera > Settings > Restore defaults > OK and try again.
- When you open Camera for the first time after this app is restored to its default settings, a message will be displayed, asking you to obtain location information. In this case, you can select Allowed or Deny as required.
- Restoring the default settings of the camera will restore the settings of Capture smiles, Object tracking, ISO, White balance, Exposure compensation, Saturation, Contrast, Beauty, HDR, effect, and others. Actual settings may vary depending on Camera features.
- Open Settings, search for Developer options, tap Animator duration scale, and select an option other than Animation off. Then turn off the screen and re-open Camera.
- If you can't find Developer options, go to Settings, search for and enter About phone, and tap the version number (HarmonyOS version) for seven times in a row to invoke Developer options.
- Developer options requires a basic understanding of the functions and features on your phone/tablet. Incorrect settings may cause your device to malfunction. Therefore, it is strongly recommended that you disable this mode during daily use.
- If the issue remains unresolved, feel free to call the Huawei consumer service hotline for further assistance.
