Set your computer to turn on and turn off at scheduled times

Huawei or Honor computers cannot be scheduled to automatically turn on at scheduled times yet.

To set your computer to turn off at specific times, perform the following operations.

  1. Enter Computer Management in the search box on the task bar and open it.

  2. Go to Task Scheduler > Create Basic Task....

  3. Create a name for the task, something like Turn off the computer at certain times after Name, and click Next.

  4. Check Daily and then click Next.

  5. Set your desired turn off time and click Next.

  6. Check Start a program and click Next.

  7. Click Browse....

  8. Type shutdown.exe into the top bar and click Open.

  9. Set Add arguments (optional): to -s –t 600. Here “600” means that the computer will turn off in 600 seconds. Enter your desired number. Click Next. Note: There is a space between “-s” and “-t”, and between “-t” and “600. “

  10. Click Finish.
