Creating a system image

Creating a system image:

1. Enter "Control Panel" in the search box on the taskbar and open it.

2. Click System and Security.

3. Select Backup and Restore (Windows 7).

4. Click Create a system image.

5. Select the location where you would like to save the backup and click Next.

6. Select Start backup.

Restoring a system image:

Before restoring the system image, back up important files to an external device.

1. 1. Press and hold or continuously press the F8 key when you turn on your computer. Alternatively, back up your files and data, then click the Windows icon and then the Battery icon, hold the Shift key, and restart the computer.
2. Go to Choose an option > Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Recovery settings.

3. On the System Image Recovery screen, select an account and enter the password. Perform operations based on the onscreen instructions.
