FIDO security key is supported on phones with built-in fingerpirnt sensor (support fingerprint recognition), running EMUI 5.X or later and installed with HMS core 4.0.3 or later. If your Huawei phone does not have the icon, perform the following:

1. Check the versions of EMUI and HMS Core.

Perform the following:

To check the EMUI version, go to Settings > About phone.

To update your phone to the latest EMUI version, go to Settings > System & updates > Software update and touch the option for update.

To check the HMS Core version, go to Settings > Apps > Apps and search for HMS Core.

To update HMS Core, open AppGallery, search for HMS Core, and touch Update.

If you updated your phone to the latest versions of EMUI and HMS Core but the FIDO security key icon is still not displayed, it indicates that your phone does not support this feature.

2. Swipe down from the status bar to open the notification panel, touch in the upper right corner, and drag the FIDO security key icon from the bottom to the notification panel.
