Third-party apps need to obtain your consent before they are permitted to access your photos, contacts, or other personal data. You can also, at any time, set the app permissions, to authorize or prohibit the collection of data. For example, you can reject an app's request to obtain your contacts.

We collect relevant and necessary personal data to provide better user experience

We only collect relevant and minimal personal data limited to what is necessary to provide you a smart, smooth, and secured experience. For example, when you register a HUAWEI ID, we collect your phone number or email address to ensure your sole and safe access, along with our quality services. Sparing no effort to protect your personal data

We encrypt your personal data, regardless of whether it is stored locally on your device, or sent to and stored on our cloud servers. For example, when you use Huawei Pay, we encrypt and convert your credit card number into a unique code, store it on the security chip which is isolated from the rest of your device, so that your credit card number is safe from prying eyes.
In addition, we will provide you with PrivateSpace. It’s a separate encrypted space on the device, providing an additional layer of protection, and unmatched peace of mind.
