After touching a thumbnail in the lower left corner on my HUAWEI phone/tablet, the wrong picture displays

Problem:

After taking a photo and touching the thumbnail in the lower left corner in Camera, a previous photo displays rather than the recently taken photo.

Cause:

The thumbnail in the lower left corner in Camera usually displays the latest photo taken, and the time is subject to the system date and time set on your tablet/phone when you took the photo.

This may occur because the system date and time on your phone/tablet have been changed, so that they are later than the correct date and time set on your phone. Therefore, after taking a photo, the thumbnail displays a previous photo by default.

For example:

You have set the system time on your phone/tablet to April 23, 2023, and taken a photo. Then you set the system time to April 20, 2022 and take another photo, the thumbnail displays the photo taken on April 23, 2023.

Solution:

1. Check the time when the photo is taken in the thumbnail. If it is later than the correct system time and you wish to view the latest photo, delete the photo which was taken later than the correct system time.
2. If the issue remains unresolved, back up your data and take your device and proof of purchase to an authorised Huawei Customer Service Centre for assistance.
