How to manage HMS Core

HMS Core is a service framework that provides basic services such as HUAWEI ID, payments, and Notifications, and does not have a separate icon on the home screen.

You can go to Apps to view and manage its permissions and data usage. The steps are as follows:

EMUI 11.0/10.X: Go to Settings > Apps > Apps, search for "HMS Core", access the App info screen, touch Permissions, and select Allow or Deny specific permissions.

EMUI 9.X: Go to Settings > Apps > Apps, search for "HMS Core", access the App info screen, touch Permissions, and enable or disable specific permissions.

EMUI 8.X: Go to Settings > Apps & notifications > Apps > HMS Core, access the App info screen, touch Permissions, and allow or deny specific permissions.

If you cannot find HMS Core in Apps, perform the following:

EMUI 11.0/10.X/9.X: Go to Settings > Apps > Apps, touch in the upper right corner, and select Show system processes.

EMUI 8.X: Go to Settings > Apps & notifications > Apps, then go to More > Show system processes.
