Project the Current App to a Large-screen Device

You can project the current app on your device to a large-screen device (for example, a Huawei Vision), while continuing to use and browse other apps on your device.

App projection is supported on large-screen devices that support the Cast+/Miracast protocol.

The figures are for reference only.

Projecting an app: After enabling wireless projection on your device, open the app you wish to project in full-screen mode, go to > to project the app to the large-screen device, and minimise the app, which will appear as a floating ball to the side on the device screen.

  • Apps in split-screen or floating-window mode can't be projected.

  • To safeguard your privacy, this feature can't be used once your device screen has been locked.

Controlling a projected app: Touch the projected app in the floating ball to display the app's floating window, which can be used to control the app.

You can exit app projection in any of the following ways:

  • Go to > Mirror screen to return to wireless projection.

  • Touch in Control Panel to expand the shortcut switch panel (depending on your device model), and touch Wireless Projection to exit wireless projection.

  • Swipe down from the upper left edge of your device to display the notification panel, and touch DISCONNECT to exit wireless projection.
