Power consumption is high when my computer is in sleep mode |
Problem
The power consumption of the computer is high, and over 10% of the computer's power is consumed within 12 hours.
Cause
This may be caused because of a Windows update.
Solution
- Right-click the Windows icon in the lower left corner, select Windows PowerShell (Admin), and enter powercfgwaketimers in the command window. If wakeup tasks are displayed, it indicates that the computer is working normally. It is recommended that you pay attention to and update your system version in a timely manner.
- If the issue persists, power off the computer, wait for 12 hours, power on the computer again, and check whether the battery level has changed significantly. If the power consumption is over 3%, bring your device and proof of purchase to a nearby Huawei Customer Service Center for assistance. If you are using a newly purchased computer, you can contact the retailer or seller to provide feedback.
Thanks for your feedback.
