Problem:
The user connects the selfie stick to their phone and records a video, but no sound can be heard for the recorded video.
Cause:
After your wired selfie stick is connected to your phone, it will mistake the selfie stick for a pair of earphones. Since no microphone is available on the selfie stick, no sound will be recorded during video recording.
This issue occurs if you are using a phone running EMUI 9.1 or later. As dictated by the system version, if earphones are connected to the phone for recording, the earphones will be used for picking up and recording sound by default.
Solution:
It is recommended that you remove the connection wire when recording videos.
