The Wi-Fi auto sleep mode is enabled by default on the HUAWEI Mobile WiFi. This mode helps you save power. If no device is connected to the HUAWEI Mobile WiFi for a certain period of time, the HUAWEI Mobile WiFi automatically disables the Wi-Fi. You can press the Power button of the HUAWEI Mobile WiFi to wake up the Wi-Fi.
If you want to enable or disable this mode, perform the following steps:
- Connect your phone to the HUAWEI Mobile WiFi, enter 192.168.8.1 in the address bar of the phone's browser, and enter the login password of the web-based management page to log in.
- Go to Advanced > Wi-Fi > Wi-Fi Advanced Settings, set Wi-Fi automatic sleep time to No auto sleep (the default time is 10 minutes).
