Problem
The user connects a computer to a monitor with an HDMI cable and uses the VLC media player to stream videos. The display is erratic on the video playback screen when the user removes the HDMI cable and then inserts it.
Cause
There is an issue with the third-party app.
Solution
Huawei has notified VLC of this issue and is working with VLC on a way to resolve this issue. Please stay tuned for version updates to VLC and update it at your earliest convenience. You can also use other video players, such as iQIYI and Tencent Video, to stream videos.
