The screen's color temperature changes after I enable Natural Tone or eBook mode

Problem

The tablet's screen looks yellow for a while and then white for a while after Natural Tone or eBook mode is enabled.

Cause

If Natural Tone is enabled, the screen's color temperature changes dynamically to reduce the difference between the color temperatures of the screen and the environment, providing a more comfortable display.

If eBook mode is enabled, the screen's color temperature changes with the ambient light. A darker ambient light will result in a yellower screen. This reduces the impact of blue light on your eyes and protects your eyes when you are reading.

Solution

Try the following:

1. If Natural Tone is enabled, go to Settings > Display & brightness > Natural color display to disable it.

2. If eBook mode is enabled, go to Settings > Display & brightness > eBook mode to disable it.

3. If the issue persists, back up your data and take your device and proof of purchase to an authorized Huawei Customer Service Center for assistance.
