- For some routers, you can press and hold the H or Hi button for 10 seconds until the indicator turns off to restore them to their factory settings.
- After the secondary routers are restored to their factory settings, the secondary routers will automatically connect to the primary router again to set up a network if the network of the primary router is normal and the secondary routers are connected to the power supply.
- After the primary router is restored to its factory settings, you will need to configure it again for networking and restore the secondary routers to their factory settings so that they can automatically connect to the primary router.
- Restore the primary/secondary routers in a pack to their factory settings separately:
Connect the primary/secondary routers to the power supply and wait for a few minutes until they have powered on. Use a sharp, pointed object to press the Reset button of the primary/secondary routers or press and hold the Reset button until their indicators turn off. If the primary/secondary routers are restarted and their indicators turn red, it indicates that the routers are successfully restored to their factory settings.
- Restore all routers in a pack to their factory settings:
1. Repeat the preceding steps to restore the primary router to its factory settings. (If you restore the secondary routers to their factory settings first, the secondary routers will immediately connect to the primary router automatically. In this case, the operation will fail.)
2. Repeat the preceding steps to restore the secondary routers to their factory settings. Doing this, all routers in the pack will then be restored to their factory settings.
