The Huawei Health app cannot automatically connect to a device |
If the Huawei Health app was connected to multiple wearable devices and detects that one of them is being worn, the app will automatically connect to the worn device.
This feature is only supported on devices running Android 8.0 or later, and when the Huawei Health app has been updated to version 12.1.6.310 or later.
If you are wearing the wearable device but the Huawei Health app does not automatically connect to it, perform the following:
A new wearable device does not automatically connect to the Huawei Health app after being worn
- Open the Huawei Health app, touch
in the upper right corner, and enable Auto-switch.
- Remove the device from your wrist, and wear it again.
- If the issue persists, manually connect to the device in the Huawei Health app.
After I wear a new wearable device, the dialog box for device switching is delayed for several minutes or does not appear
- After you put on a new wearable device, it takes several minutes to perform wearing detection. This is normal, and does not indicate an issue with your device.
- If automatic connection is supported on the new device but the removed device cannot display dialog boxes, the dialog box for device switching will be displayed on the new device.
- If automatic connection is not supported on the new device but the removed device can display dialog boxes, the dialog box for device switching will not be displayed on the new device.
- If you have set a lock screen PIN for the new device and have not unlocked the device for a long period of time after the device vibrates, the dialog box will not display after the device is unlocked. In this case, go to the Huawei Health app and manually connect to the device.
Thanks for your feedback.
