Find Devices will be adjusted for EMUI 9.X and earlier devices from 00:00 on October 15, 2022. After the adjustment, your device search app (version earlier than 9.3.4.312) may no longer be available, and the device search function on the cloud space official website (cloud.huawei.com) will no longer provide services for devices of earlier versions. You can update the latest Find Device App via Huawei AppGallery to continue using the services. If your device is forcibly restored to factory settings, the activation lock may fail to be unlocked, affecting normal use of the device. If you are worried that the device will be affected by the activation lock, you can disable the device search function or remove the device from the cloud space official website (cloud.huawei.com) before forcibly restoring the device to factory settings to ensure that the device will not be affected by the activation lock failure.
