Spatial effects
- Default: Delivers crisp treble and punchy bass, to balance sound quality and spatial sound. This feature is only supported when the device is paired with devices running versions earlier than HarmonyOS 5.0.
- Theatre: Restores the clarity of voices, to produce an immersive theater-like experience.
- Cinema: Creates a more expansive sense of space, to create an immersive cinematic effect.
- Concert hall: Reproduces the sound faithfully so that the vocals and instrumentals are both clear.

If you notice issues such as excessive echo, strong reverberation, hollow sound, or overly intense spatial effects after enabling Spatial Audio, try setting Spatial effects to Concert hall. If you find that the spatial effects are not noticeable or too weak, try setting Spatial effects to Cinema. If the issue persists, try playing other content or using another app.
FAQs
Q1: What are the differences between HD spatial audio and Unlimited spatial audio?
- HD spatial audio: Utilizing Huawei-exclusive scenario-specific spatial sound field rendering engine and L2HC protocol, along with six-axis head motion sensors, this feature delivers an immersive spatial audio experience with head tracking. It also supports real-time rendering of native Audio Vivid, multi-channel, and stereo audio sources. HD spatial audio is only supported when the device is paired with HUAWEI devices running HarmonyOS 4.0 or later.
- Unlimited spatial audio: Based on the spatial audio processing capabilities built into the earbuds, this feature supports rendering all dual-channel audio transmitted via Bluetooth with spatial effects (multi-channel content will be downmixed into dual-channel audio by the system before being rendered by the earbuds). This makes the music more immersive and dynamic, and includes support for head tracking. Unlimited spatial audio works with any device or content source, including music and videos.
Q2: What are the differences between the Head tracked and Fixed modes?
- Head tracked: The earbuds come equipped with six-axis posture sensors that dynamically track head movements and reshape the sound field in real time, for 360° surround sound effects.
- Fixed: The earbuds include a Huawei-exclusive high definition spatial audio rendering engine to reproduce acoustic effects in different scenarios through acoustic positioning rendering and spatial rendering.
For safety reasons, Head tracked mode will be temporarily disabled after you run or walk for more than 10 seconds in this mode, and will automatically resume after you keep still for six seconds.
