How to set the triple-tap gesture on HUAWEI FreeBuds series earphones

How to set the triple-tap gesture on HUAWEI FreeBuds series earphones

HUAWEI earphones running the latest firmware version support the triple-tap gesture, which can be set to Previous song, Next song, or None by accessing the earphones' card in the AI Life app and going to Gestures.

Requirements

  • Applicable Earphones:

    FreeBuds 6 / FreeBuds SE 3 / FreeBuds 6i / FreeBuds SE 2 / FreeBuds 5i / FreeBuds 5

  • Operating System :

    EMUI、Android、iOS

  • Version Requirements

    EMUI or Android : update Plug-in in the AI Life App to 14.0.5.322 or later

    iOS : update AI Life App to 13.2.1.311 or later , or update HUAWEI Audio Connect App to 1.0.1.305 or later

    The HUAWEI Audio Connect App is currently only supported on iOS devices, details can be found here : Introduction to the Functions and Usage of the HUAWEI Audio Connect App.

Function experience

Perform the following to use the triple-tap gesture:

  1. Connect with your earphones.
  2. Open the AI Life app, access the earphones' card, and go to Gestures. Then select the desired feature for the triple-tap gesture.

    Setting the triple-tap gesture to Previous song, Next song, or None is not supported in the HUAWEI Music app for FreeBuds 5/FreeBuds 5i earphones. Please stay tuned for updates.
