My HUAWEI watch beeps when I start a workout such as running

Problem

When the user enables Metronome on their HUAWEI watch and starts a workout, such as running, walking, or cycling, the watch makes a beep sound.

Solution

The Metronome feature helps you keep tempo to improve your performance. If you do not need this feature, you can disable it as follows:

Method 1: During the workout, swipe right on the screen to access the Metronome screen (). Tap the off/pause icon () at the bottom, and the watch will not make any sounds during your current session. However, it will still enable Metronome and produce sounds the next time you start a workout. If you want to disable this feature, perform the following steps.

Method 2: If you do not want to use the Metronome feature, enter the app list on your watch, tap Workout, the settings icon () next to Outdoor run/Outdoor walk/Outdoor cycle, and then Metronome to disable Metronome.
