HUAWEI Eyewear comes with non-prescription optical lenses and sunglasses lenses. It is recommended that you replace them with lenses that match your prescription.
As the frames of HUAWEI Eyewear differ greatly from those on other products in terms of appearance and size, the HUAWEI Eyewear and HUAWEI X GENTLE MONSTER Eyewear lenses cannot be used interchangeably.
Optical lenses
Optical lenses vary greatly depending on the brand, materials, and press-on mode. It is recommended that you go to a specialist glasses store and see an optician to get suitable lenses for your glasses.
Be sure to go to a specialist glasses store to change your lenses. After the lenses are replaced, the glasses will not be eligible for return or replacement, but the one-year warranty period will remain valid.
Avoid heating or bending the arms of the glasses, as they contain electronic components.

- The glasses come with non-prescription acrylic decorative lenses. It is recommended that you replace them in a timely manner.
HUAWEI Eyewear has worked with Doctor Glasses to offer a prescription glasses service. Please go to a specialist glasses store or provide your prescription information on VMALL, or at an authorized Huawei experience store, to get your prescription glasses.
- The following combinations are available:
- Rectangle: semi frame and full frame
- Round: semi frame and full frame
- Aviator: full frame and sunglasses
For the same series, you can replace the full frame with a semi frame or vice versa. However, you cannot replace the lenses of full frame glasses with those of semi frame glasses or vice versa.
- All the lenses available on VMALL are aspheric, and come with a refractive index of 1.60, 1.67, or 1.74. The Mingyue 1.60 ultra-tough aspheric lenses provide protection against blue light. For more information about lenses, please refer to the product page.

Sunglasses lenses
Sunglasses are classified into four filter categories. Higher categories indicate better UV protection.
Be sure to go to a specialist glasses store to change your lenses. After the lenses are replaced, the glasses will not be eligible for return or replacement, but the one-year warranty period will remain valid.

- Non-prescription nylon plastic (PA) lenses. Sunglasses lenses differ from optical lenses in that they are coated to provide protection against UV (UV 400).
- The aviator frame sunglasses fall into category 3. It is recommended that you avoid wearing sunglasses while driving.
You can replace the aviator full frame with the aviator sunglasses frame or vice versa, but it is not recommended to use lenses interchangeably.

- Lens replacement service is available for HUAWEI X GENTLE MONSTER Eyewear II with color lenses, but not for sunglasses, in either Huawei or GENTLE MONSTER stores, due to the specialized and complex lens cutting process.
If you replace the lenses on your own, the glasses will no longer be eligible for return or replacement. GENTLE MONSTER will no longer provide a warranty for the front frame, but the one-year warranty for the arms provided by Huawei will not be affected.
- If the sunglasses lenses are worn out or cracked, contact a GENTLE MONSTER store to check if the lenses are in stock and then go to the store to have the lenses replaced. Specialist glasses stores may be unable to replace the sunglasses lenses. If the glasses need to be repaired, you will need to provide a product certificate, such as the warranty card and certification card, or proof of purchase issued from Huawei.
