Insert the SIM card and power on your laptop. If you can see 
displayed in the bottom-right corner on the status bar, it indicates that your laptop is using mobile data. Click to check the carrier name and connection status.
Wireless standard:
LTE: 4G
HSPA or UMTS: 3G
Number of the network signal bars: When 
is displayed, it indicates that the signal strength is the strongest (five bars). Fewer signal bars indicate a weaker network signal.
