How to create Child Account

Note:

For the users in Philippines under 18 years old and the users under 14 years old in other countries and regions, the users' parents or guardians can log in with HUAWEI IDs, and create new HUAWEI IDs for the children.

On a Huawei phone or tablet:

• Please log in with your HUAWEI ID, go to Settings > HUAWEI ID > Personal info > Child accounts > New account, then follow the onscreen instructions to register.

A HUAWEI ID for the child can control the purchase by the parents, because the purchase requests initiated by the child need the verification with parent's or guardian’s HUAWEI ID and its password.

Notes:

1. The date of birth in the HUAWEI ID for a child cannot be changed to the date of birth of an adult (above 18 years old). If you want to change the date of birth, you need to delete the HUAWEI ID for the child, and create a new HUAWEI ID.
2. The date of birth in the HUAWEI ID for an adult cannot be changed to the date of birth of a child (under 14 years old). If you want to change the date of birth, you need to delete the HUAWEI ID for the adult, and create a new HUAWEI ID for a child.
