Toner has leaked from my printer
Toner has leaked from my printer |
Problem
Toner has leaked from the printer.
Cause
1. The printer has a structure that the toner and drum cartridge are separated. When the third toner cartridge is replaced, there will be a small amount of toner left at the joint between the toner cartridge and the drum cartridge. This is normal and does not affect the functions of the printer.
2. It is normal that toner leaks in other parts of the printer. Because of the micron-level toner particle, a small amount of toner will scatter during the packaging and transportation of the printer.
Solution
1. When you replace the toner cartridge, there is a small amount of toner left at the joint between the toner cartridge and the drum cartridge. You can discard the old toner cartridge. If there is a small amount of toner left at the front cover of the printer, clean it with a wet cloth. The drum cartridge (which can be used to print 15,000 pages) needs to be replaced horizontally. Do not turn it over to replace it. If the drum cartridge is turned over, a small amount of toner will drop out. This is normal and you can clean it with a wet cloth.
2. You can clean the toner leakage in other parts of the printer with a wet cloth, though the toner leakage does not affect the functions of the printer. Please do not be concerned.
