Pairing guide for Huawei wearable with Android devices
1. Downloading and installing HUAWEI Health app
Important: Ensure your phone is connected to the internet during pairing, as this is crucial for first-time setup and for enabling all device features.
Note: Primary method for getting Huawei Health app on your mobile device is using QR code from wearable. Don’t try to search Health app in Google Play store where you can find only Honor Health app. Attempts for pairing with Huawei wearable devices will be failed.
For using Healthy365 in Singapore first you need to pair with Huawei Health app and then synchronize your health monitoring data with Healthy365 app.
1.1 Turn on the smartwatch by long pressing the upper button. Select preferred language and confirm the permission statement. On “Pair” screen select "Use QR code". Scan the displayed QR code with your phone.
1.2. Note: Huawei phone users can move directly to Step 1. 3, as HUAWEI Health app is already preinstalled on their phones.
If you are pairing the device with phone other than Huawei for the first time, you will be redirected to download HUAWEI Health App. Choose your phone brand. Complete download and install the app.
You might be redirected to different stores to download HUAWEI Health app, based on your phone brand.
1.3. Open the HUAWEI Health App. Register or log in with your HUAWEI ID to be able to pair the wearable device.

2. Pairing wearable device via Huawei Health
Note: Before pairing your wearable device, make sure you are logged in with the correct Huawei account: an adult account for all devices and a child account specifically for Huawei Kids Watches. Follow the guide below to verify your account type.
How to check account type.
Go to App gallery -> Me -> Click on Huawei ID>Personal Info->Child accounts.
If the profile contains no child accounts, it is an adult account, you can proceed. If you see any child accounts present, you have to login or register with a different account.
For customer convenience HUAWEI Health is allowing pairing wearable device using two methods.
A - Scanning QR code
B - Search for nearby Bluetooth devices
Method A: Scanning QR code.
2.1. Open the HUAWEI Health App. Select “Add device” in the top-right corner. Select "Scan" option. Scan the QR code from step 1.
2.2. Follow the prompts to agree and allow the relevant permissions on the App.
2.3. Confirm pairing on the watch and phone if needed.
2.4. Download device resources.
If you encounter any problems on this stage it is advised to follow below steps:
- Check your internet connection: Ensure your device is connected to a stable Wi-Fi or mobile data network.
- Switch networks: Try switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data to see if the issue persists.
2.5. Accept permissions
During installation process HUAWEI Health App will ask for accepting a few permissions. Depending on your phone manufacture different options and exceptions would be needed.
Make sure to enable all relevant permissions. This typically includes:
a) Physical Activity/Body Sensors: To track steps, heart rate, sleep, and other fitness data.
b) Nearby devices: To allow recognizing Bluetooth devices for pairing.
c) Phone/Call logs: To receive call notifications and manage calls from your watch.
d) Contacts: To display caller ID for incoming calls.
e) SMS/Messages: To receive text message notifications.
f) Notifications: To receive app alerts. You may need to grant "Notification access" specifically.
g) Location: For accurate GPS tracking during workouts and weather updates. "Allow all the time" with location services enabled on the phone is advised.
h) Calendar: For synchronizing with your Calendar on phone.
2.6. When the "Pairing, continue on the phone" pops up on the watch, please read and agree to the agreement statement and enhanced services on the HUAWEI Health App, then click "Next".
2.7. Finally click the "Done" button on the phone.
Your watch should be now paired with your phone.
Method B: Bluetooth Pairing
2. 1. Place your HUAWEI Watch close to your phone
2. 2. Press and hold the upper button on the smartwatch to turn it on
2. 3. Select the preferred language. The smartwatch will display the corresponding Bluetooth name.
2. 4. Open the HUAWEI Health App. Click “Add Device” and search for the Bluetooth name of your watch.

2. 6. Agree to allow the relevant permissions on the HUAWEI Health App, and confirm pairing on the watch.
