White marks on the fingerprint sensor

Problem:

There are white marks on the surface of the fingerprint sensor button.

Cause:

The white marks could be residue from the mould used to make the fingerprint sensor.

Solution:

• Wipe the fingerprint sensor using a clean, soft cloth dipped in alcohol, or a dry cloth.
• If the issue persists, back up your data and take your phone and proof of purchase to an authorised Huawei Customer Service Centre for assistance.
