[HUAWEI] My kids watch has a weak or nonexistent signal, and no service

The signal of your watch is closely related to the network environment. If the number of signal bars on the watch status bar is low, or is displayed on the signal bar, perform the following steps to troubleshoot:

1. Try moving your watch to a different location

  • In some enclosed indoor environments, such as in areas with a number of tall buildings nearby, the phone signal may be blocked, resulting in a poor signal.
  • The carrier's network coverage may vary depending on where you are. In some areas, carrier coverage may be insufficient, resulting in a poor signal.

If the signal on your watch is poor in certain areas, or if the same issue is present on nearby kids watches using SIM cards from the same carrier, the issue may be location-related. You can try moving to another area to resolve the issue.

2. Check whether the watch's SIM card is working properly

Try inserting another SIM card into your watch, and checking whether the watch's network signal returns to normal. If so, it indicates that there is an issue with your watch's original SIM card, and that you use a standard Nano-SIM card.

  • If your SIM card has been manually cut, the signal reading may have been affected, due to non-standard shape of the SIM card or the SIM card coming into contact with the wrong materials. In this case, it is recommended that you purchase a standard Nano-SIM card.
  • If the SIM card on your watch is dirty or oxidized, the signal reading may also be compromised. It is recommended that you keep the SIM card as clean as possible.

3. If the issue persists

  • Restart your watch and check whether the signal has returned to normal.
