1. Downloading and installing HUAWEI Health app the iPhone devices

Important: Ensure your phone is connected to the internet during pairing, as this is crucial for first-time setup and for enabling all device features.

1.1. Go to the App Store on your iPhone device and type “Huawei Health”. App suggestions are determined by the Apple ID region settings.

HUAWEI Health: Europe – This version of the app is designed specifically for users in the Europe. If your Apple ID region is set to any EU country, only the HUAWEI Health: Europe app will appear in the App Store. To use this version properly, you must sign in with a Huawei ID registered in an EU location.

Huawei Health (Global) - This version of the app is intended for users outside the Europe. If your Apple ID region is set to a country outside the EU, only the HUAWEI Health app will be available in the App Store.

1. 2. Open the Huawei Health app and sign in with your Huawei ID, or create one if you don’t have it yet. This allows you to access all app features and pair your wearable device successfully.

2. Pairing wearable device via Huawei Health

For Huawei Watch 4, Huawei Watch GT4, Huawei FIT 4 and latest wearable devices please follow process below.

For customer convenience HUAWEI Health is allowing pairing wearable device using two methods.

A - Scanning QR code.

B - Search for nearby Bluetooth devices

 

Method A: Scanning QR code

Power on your Huawei Watch

Select your preferred language.

You should see pairing screen with option to use QR code.

Open the HUAWEI Health App on your iPhone, select “Add device” in the top right corner, click "Scan code" in the right bottom corner. Scan the QR code of the HUAWEI Watch for pairing.

5. Confirm pairing on the HUAWEI Watch.

6. When the "Pairing, continue on the iPhone” pops up on HUAWEI Watch, go to iPhone and click “Pair” button.

7. Please read and agree to the Terms of use agreement statement on the HUAWEI Health App, then click "Next".

8. Finally click the "Done" button on the iPhone to complete the entire pairing process.

Method B: Search for nearby Bluetooth devices

Power on the HUAWEI Watch.

Select your preferred language.

Look on the smartwatch to see the corresponding Bluetooth name.

4. Open the HUAWEI Health App, click “Add Device” to search for the Bluetooth name of the corresponding watch.

5. After selecting the device from the search list, click “Connect”.

6. Confirm pairing on your HUAWEI Watch.

7. When the "Pairing, continue on the iPhone” pops up on HUAWEI Watch, go to iPhone and click “Pair” button.

8. You should see “Continue in Huawei Health" notification displayed on the smartwatch. Now please read and agree to the Terms of use agreement statement on the HUAWEI Health App, and click "Next".

9. Finally, tap the “Done” button on your iPhone to finish the pairing process.

My HUAWEI wearable device fails to link with the Huawei Health app for the first pairing attempt

 

For Huawei Watch 3, Huawei Watch GT3 and previous wearable devices please follow the process below:

Note: Before pairing your wearable device, make sure you’re using the correct Huawei account - adult accounts for most devices and a child account for the Huawei Kids Watch. Follow the guide below to verify your account type.

Go to AppGallery

Choose “Me” Tab

Click on "Huawei ID"

Click on "Personal Info

Select "Child accounts”.

If the profile contains no child accounts, it is an adult account, you can proceed. If you see any child accounts, you have to login or register with a different account.

1. Go to the iPhone Settings > Bluetooth.

2. Select your wearable device from the Bluetooth list on the iPhone device.

3. Once pairing is started, you will see the notification on the HUAWEI watch “Open the Health app to pair the watch.”

4. Open the HUAWEI Health application and click on dot icon (: :) in top right corner. You will see two options: “Scan” and “Add device” . Click “Add device”.

5. Once Bluetooth scan is over, select the paired wearable in the list by clicking “Connect”.

6. After selecting the paired wearable device, you should see "Pairing successful” notification on your HUAWEI Watch.
