What data can I back up using HiSuite?
  1. Data that can be backed up to your computer using HiSuite includes:

Contacts, Messaging, call history, pictures, music, videos, documents, apps and data, Schedule, Notepad, Alarm, Wi-Fi and passwords, Phone Manager settings, Driving Mode, SmartCare, Clock, Weather, home screen, and Blocked.

Since HiSuite_5.0.3, it has been possible for you to back up media data including images, videos, and audio files. However, media files in the system data directory cannot be backed up. When encrypting the backup files, media files will not be encrypted. Therefore, no password is required when you restore media files.

Since HiSuite_8.0.1, both media and text files can be encrypted during backup.

  2. The following types of data cannot be backed up using HiSuite:
    • Unnecessary files such as mirror files and temporary system files
    • Third-party app data files that are not stored in the data/data file under the system path
    • App binding/pairing data files
    • User personal data files from financial apps (such as bank, payment, and investment apps)
    • Data files from apps requiring hardware support (only supported on some models)
    • Data protected by verification codes
    • App twin data

If the HD icon can be displayed normally before the phone system is restored, but cannot be displayed afterwards, try the following: Remove the SIM card and insert another SIM card provided by a different network provider into your phone. When the new SIM card successfully registers with the network, remove it and insert the original SIM card into your phone to resolve the issue.
