How to check supported payment methods

You can check supported payment methods in either of the following ways:

  1. Go to Settings > Account centre > Payment and purchases and check whether Bank cards and HUAWEI Points are supported.

    From there, you can also check whether mobile phone billing is supported. It should be noted that, in HMS versions earlier than 2.7.1, this payment method will display only after you have added a phone number for in-app purchases.

  2. On the payment screen for in-app purchases, you can view all supported payment methods.

    If a payment method that is known to be supported in your country/region does not display, ensure your phone is running the latest version of HMS.

    To check the HMS version, go to Settings > Account centre > Settings > About.

    To check for HMS updates, go to Settings > Account centre > Settings > Check for updates.

    Mobile phone billing is supported since HMS 2.6.2, HUAWEI Points since HMS 2.6.4, and PayPal since HMS 2.7.0. Note that HUAWEI Points payment may not be available in certain countries/regions.
