[HUAWEI] Indoor run distance is inaccurate |
There are multiple reasons for this issue. You can perform the following operations:
Check the Profile settings
Your wearable device calculates your workout distance based on your workout status and step count, as determined by its sensors and your body parameters. Remember to swing your arms during the workout. In addition, open the Huawei Health app, go to Profile, and enter your correct information, including Gender, Height, Weight, and Date of birth, to ensure accurate distance tracking.
Manually adjust the workout distance
- Start Indoor run in the Huawei Health app:
Once you're done with your run, the distance adjustment window will automatically pop up in the Huawei Health app. You can adjust the parameters in the app based on the distance displayed on the treadmill, to improve the accuracy of the distance data.
- Start Indoor run on your wearable device:
Once you're done with your run, you can adjust the distance on your wearable device based on the distance displayed on the treadmill, to improve the accuracy of the distance data.
Manual distance adjustment is supported only after a single workout ends.
Carry your phone during the workout or start a workout on your wearable device
If you start a run in the Huawei Health app and do not carry your phone with you while running, the recorded running distance may be zero.
To obtain more accurate running data, it is recommended that you start runs on your wearable device instead.
