Enabling and disabling virtual technology |
Virtual technology is also known as virtualisation technology. Enabling this technology can improve the performance of the computer when a virtual machine (VM) is running.
To enable or disable this technology, perform the following steps:
- Press and hold F2 during startup to open the BIOS setting screen.
- Find Virtualisation Technology and press the Enter key. In the dialog box that is displayed, select Disable to disable this technology or select Enable to enable this technology. Press the Enter key to confirm your selection. Then press F10 to save the setting and exit the screen.
- The HUAWEI MateBook E 2019 (Planck) does not support this technology.
- If the Virtualisation Technology option is not displayed on the BIOS setting screen, it indicates that this technology is enabled by default and cannot be disabled.
- If the virtual technology cannot be used, update the BIOS driver to the latest version in PC Manager or on the official Huawei website and try again.
Thanks for your feedback.
