If all incoming call numbers are displayed as unknown

Insert your SIM card into another working device, and check if the issue persists.
  • If the issue persists, the caller ID display feature may not be enabled or the number information for incoming calls is not carried. In this case, contact the carrier to resolve the issue.
  • If the issue is resolved (incoming call numbers are correctly displayed), call the Huawei customer service hotline for assistance.

If some incoming call numbers are displayed as unknown

Please contact your carrier for assistance. The possible causes are as follows:

  1. The number may be incorrectly delivered by the carrier.
  2. The other party may be using a third-party app to make a call.
  3. The other party may be hiding the caller ID using a third-party app or through certain phone settings.
  4. The other party may have activated a carrier service to hide the caller ID when making calls.
  5. The other party may be making the call from another country/region where there are differences in communication standards between carriers. In this case, the caller ID service does not apply.
