The MateView monitor's support is prone to heating up |
Problem
The MateView monitor's support tends to heat up after a period of use.
Cause
- The MateView monitor has parts such as the main board and speakers inside the support. After the monitor is used for a period of time, the electronic components inside the support will generate heat, which will be transferred to the support surface to dissipate heat. Therefore, you may feel that it is heating up when you touch the support.
- When the MateView monitor is connected to a device such as a laptop or phone using a USB-C cable, it will automatically charge the device, increasing the heat of the components on the main board.
Solution
- The MateView monitor has passed rigorous tests and meets regulatory requirements even under maximum load. It is normal that the support heats up and it does not affect the function and reliability of the monitor.
- When the MateView monitor fully charges the device such as a laptop or phone during reverse charging, the temperature of the support will decrease. If you feel that the support is overheating, it is recommended that you disconnect the device from the monitor and charge the device with a charger. This will greatly reduce the heat of the monitor's support.
