Pre-installed apps on the watch are categorised into three types. Below is a breakdown of these categories and the steps to delete or uninstall them:
- Basic apps: These apps cannot be uninstalled and include MeeTime, Camera, Gallery, Messages, AppGallery, and Settings.
- Uninstallable apps: To uninstall an app, touch and hold the app icon for 2 seconds and tap the
icon that appears. - Shortcuts that can be deleted: To delete a shortcut (marked with a blue arrow in the lower right corner), touch and hold the icon for 2 seconds and tap the
icon that appears.
If you accidentally delete a system app or shortcut, you can restore it using the following steps:
Admins: Open HUAWEI FamCare, navigate to the Devices screen, go to , then tap Restore next to the app you want to restore.
