Problem
When the watch is connected to the phone and Bluetooth earbuds at the same time and a call is made or answered on the watch (with the earbuds disconnected from the phone), the audio is played from the watch instead of the earbuds.
Cause
In this scenario, the watch serves as the sole device for audio playback and cannot transmit the audio to the earbuds.
Solution
To use your Bluetooth earbuds for calls, pair them with your phone and use the earbuds to answer the call, or answer it on your phone and switch the audio to the earbuds.
- This applies only to HUAWEI phones that do not support Bluetooth automatic switchover, HUAWEI watches, and third-party phones (such as Apple and Xiaomi).
- With an eSIM service activated, your watch can connect to Bluetooth earbuds and use them for calls.
