| Protection for children's accounts in HUAWEIAppGallery |
To protect minors, HUAWEIAppGallery has enhanced the restriction of app downloads and installations for minors from version 11.3.1.302 onwards. HUAWEIAppGallery will restrict certain apps from being downloaded and installed based on the content rating rules when the person who is registered to use the account is aged below the age of majority in the local country/region. When you log in to HUAWEIAppGallery for the first time using a child account, a prompt will be displayed indicating that you are in Kids mode, and HUAWEIAppGallery will only display apps that are suitable for the age specified in your HUAWEI ID.

If you have set the age incorrectly, resulting in you being restricted from installing apps, you can perform the following to remove the restriction:
If your HUAWEI ID is registered in Singapore or the service area of your HUAWEI ID is Singapore, the child mode will be enabled by default according to local laws and regulations before you link a card to your account. In this case, you can exit the child mode by going to Settings > HUAWEI ID > Payment & purchases > Huawei Wallet Pay, and linking a credit card for verification (credit cards from all over the world are supported, while debit cards cannot be used to exit the child mode).
- Method 1: When you open HUAWEIAppGallery for the first time, a message will be displayed indicating that you are in Kids mode. Go to , touch the profile picture at the top to access Account centre, scroll down to the bottom, and touch Log out to log out of your account (to ensure account security, you will be asked to enter your account name and password). After that, touch the profile picture again to access the Account centre login screen and log in to an adult account.

- Method 2: Log out of your HUAWEI ID, go to , and select the option to allow all app installations. Then see if you can download the app you want. If so, log in to your HUAWEI ID again.
