Sounds & vibration on your HUAWEI watch/band

You can adjust the settings to suit your needs.

  • When the Mute switch is toggled on, ringtones will be muted, but your device will still vibrate to notify you.
  • Devices without speakers, such as Band Series and HUAWEI WATCH FIT: Only vibration strength settings are supported.
  • HUAWEI WATCH Buds Series: The devices do not have speakers, and sound is played from the earbuds.

Mute settings

  1. Enter the device app list and go to Settings > Sounds & vibration.
  2. Enable or disable Mute to suit your needs.

Not all watch models support Mute. If your device doesn't have the Mute switch, this feature isn't supported on your device.

Ringtone volume settings

  1. Enter the device app list and go to Settings > Sounds & vibration > Ringtone.
  2. Swipe up or down to adjust the volume. (If your watch has a crown, you can adjust the volume by rotating it.)

Vibration strength settings

  1. Enter the device app list and go to Settings > Sounds & vibration > Vibrations > Vibration.

The steps may vary depending on the device.

    • For a band, enter the app list and go to Settings > Vibration.
    • For other watches, enter the app list and go to Settings > Sounds & vibration > Vibration.
  2. Select your desired vibration strength: Strong, Soft, or Off.

Custom vibration settings

You can customise the vibration strength for features like alarms. Here's how to do it using alarms as an example:

  1. Enter the device app list and go to Settings > Sounds & vibration > Vibrations > Custom.
  2. Select Alarm, and choose between Crescendo, Continuous, or Pulse to match your preferences.

Not all watch models support Custom. If your device doesn't have the Custom switch, this feature isn't supported on your device.

Crown haptics

  1. Enter the device app list and go to Settings > Sounds & vibration.
  2. Enable Crown haptics and you will feel the haptic feedback at each turn of the watch crown. You can also disable the feature to suit your needs.

Not all watch models support Crown haptics. If your device doesn't have the Crown haptics switch, this feature isn't supported on your device.
