Slow wireless charging speed

Follow the steps below to troubleshoot:

  1. Compared to wired charging, wireless charging uses an energy conversion process, resulting in some energy loss.
  2. The device to be charged is placed far away from the centre of the wireless charging cradle. Put your device in the centre of the charging cradle for better charging performance.
  3. A non-standard charger is used. For better charging performance, it is recommended that you use a Huawei standard wireless charger and its charging adapter to charge your device.

    The following table lists the charging power when using different wireless chargers.

    1. HUAWEI Wireless Quick Charger (CP85): 9 V/2 A or 10 V/4 A HUAWEI fast charging adapter with the maximum output power being 10 W
    2. HUAWEI Wireless Charger (CP60): 9 V/2 A or 10 V/4 A HUAWEI fast charging adapter with the maximum output power being 10 W or 15 W respectively (for HUAWEI Mate 20 Pro, Mate 20 RS, and P30 Pro only)
    3. When using other chargers, the maximum power is 5 W.
