Your HUAWEI M-Pen (designed for your Mate 20 X) has three modes available: Sleep mode, Floating mode, and Work mode.
In Work mode, your M-Pen's battery drains far quicker than in Sleep mode. To extend its battery life and prevent triggering Work mode accidentally, avoid applying pressure on the M-Pen tip when not in use.
