This operation applies only to computers that support touchscreen functionality.
If your computer has a touchscreen, this feature is enabled by default. To disable touchscreen:
- Right-click the Windows icon, and select Device Manager.
- Expand or double-click Human Interface Devices, right-click HID-compliant touch Screen, and choose Disable device.
- Click Yes.
- To enable touchscreen again, right-click HID-compliant touch Screen, and choose Enable device.
