How to make an in-store payment with Huawei Pay through a code

Scenario 1: Presenting the payment code for the cashier to scan

  1. When the screen is locked, use your fingerprint for HUAWEI Wallet quick pay to access the payment screen. Alternatively, open Wallet and touch Payment code at the top of the screen.
  2. Authenticate the payment with your fingerprint, face, or Payment PIN.
  3. If you do not want to use the default bank card for the payment, touch it, and then select another card.
  4. Present the payment code to the cashier. If a bank card is displayed instead, touch Use QR code. Wait until the cashier finishes the scanning.

Scenario 2: Scanning the in-store QR code

  1. Open Wallet, touch Scan at the top of the screen, and scan the QR code displayed by the merchant.
  2. Confirm or enter the payment amount.
  3. If you do not want to use the default bank card for the payment, touch it, and then select another card.
  4. Authenticate the payment with your fingerprint, face, or Payment PIN.

Payments through a code are available only in certain countries/regions. If this feature is not yet available for your location, Payment code and Scan will not be present in the Wallet app.
